Catherine Cantler

Cate is a second year Social Work graduate student at Springfield College. Cate completed their undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College, graduating with an English degree in 2016.  Cate has held a wide range of jobs, but the common thread that drives her is facilitating community and caring for others. Their most recent experience working in mental health was an internship at a substance recovery outpatient clinic in Pittsfield, Mass. Cate’s favorite mental health tip is, “Present not perfection." When we are present with ourselves then we are better able to show up for others.
