The Health Sciences Center is home to the School of Health Sciences and Rehabilitation's entire laboratory and teaching space, which includes a state-of-the-art human anatomy and neuroscience laboratory with computer stations, anatomical models, and facilities for dissection.
The OT lab includes a wide variety of equipment for functional skills training, including an adapted bathroom and kitchen, splinting materials and tools, pediatric therapy equipment, wheelchairs, adaptive computer hardware and software, and assistive technology.
The Department of Physical Therapy has two exercise groups for community members. These groups are run both as a community service and as a part of our clinical program for students in our Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Each group is structured to have faculty directors who supervise and direct each group and have intimate familiarity with the status and needs of each community member, as well as with the knowledge, skills, and expectations for student performance.
