Undeclared Major Tracks | Springfield College

Undeclared Major Tracks

As an entering undeclared student, you'll have the opportunity to choose one of four tracks that best meets your area of interest. The track program allows you to explore major and career options while staying on track for completing degree requirements in a traditional four-year program.

Each track offers a peer group of similar interests, curriculum choices that allow you to explore and test majors (and stay on track for a particular direction if you choose to), and general education courses that can be used if you choose to change direction.

What Each Track Offers

  • A peer group of students with similar interests
  • Curriculum choices that help students explore, test, and stay on track for that area of majors
  • General education courses students can use if they change direction
  • Exploration: In a Major Way, a one-credit required course focusing on study skills; time management; and self, major, and career exploration
  • Specially trained academic advisors, committed to helping students succeed
