Springfield Girls Volleyball CampJuly 12-14, 2019 Our specialty format allows players to train in their specialized court positions: Setter, Middle Blocker, Libero/Defensive Specialist, Outside Hitter, Opposite. During the first half of camp we focus on technical training needed for each specialized position.This approach is similar to trainings that occur at the college/university level. The second half of camp focuses on tactical training: 6 v 6 competition with coaching specialized for a wide variety of competitive experiences. |

Elite Soccer Camp for High School GirlsFriday August 9 – Sunday August 11, 2019 This camp is designed to provide the college-bound soccer player with the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to succeed on and off the field at the collegiate level. Players will be exposed to the four corners of performance development through physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social education. We will utilize on-field as well as interactive classroom-based seminars to create a positive learning environment that is both enjoyable and challenging. |

Mystic Aquarium Summer Camps at Springfield CollegeCamp sessions run from Mon., July 8, 2019 through Fri., August 9, 2019. Springfield College is partnering with Mystic Aquarium for multiple camps offered this summer here on campus. Roll up your sleeves and get ready for hands-on discovery, up-close animal encounters, and brainy aquatic adventures! The camps are open to children grades 2-12. Many feature an overnight field expedition to Mystic Aquarium and the Connecticut seashore! Water is Life: Think BlueEntering grades 2-5July 15-19 July 29-August 2 Explore unique watery worlds and the animals that thrive in our wondrous ocean! Engage in exciting activities and enjoy playing creative games while learning about many different animals and their special adaptations and how they survive in the ocean realm. We’ll meet for close-up sessions with animals from Mystic Aquarium and we’ll venture out in nature on field trips to fabulous local attractions. Mystic Aquarium’s Spectacular SpeciesEntering grades 6-8 Marine Conservation in Action!Entering grades 9-12July 8-11 August 5-8 Participate in the progress of marine-conservation experts in this action-packed camp, split between interesting sites around Springfield and along the Connecticut coast. This immersive program features up-close animal encounters and rare opportunities to meet with exotic animal caregivers and rescue staff. In our overnight expedition to Long Island Sound and Mystic Aquarium, we’ll examine case studies of unique ecosystems and animals including belugas, seals and penguins. Coaches of the athletes are encouraged to attend a free coach’s clinic on July 12 at which you can ask questions, learn mechanics, and develop knowledge of your specific events. Registration is required (coffee and lunch will be provided).

Springfield College Men's Soccer CampSaturday, Aug. 3-Sunday, Aug. 4 This recruiting event camp is designed to provide a positive learning experience that is both enjoyable and competitive. Our curriculum is targeted toward high school aged student-athletes with a strong interest in playing college soccer. Participants will interact and receive feedback and instruction from the Springfield College men's soccer coaching staff both on the field and in the classroom in an effort to ive insight on the experience of a varsity soccer player. |
