Day Session (Ages 5-13) $225

Our Day Session runs Tuesday through Friday, with the day beginning at 8:45 a.m. and ending with pick-up at 4:00 p.m. East Campus provides optional early and late care services at no additional cost. Early care begins at 8:30 a.m., and late care extends to 4:30 p.m. Participants are required to bring their own snacks and lunches.

During the day, participants will experience a variety of activities that include participation in the challenge course, archery, boating, and an open block.

The Challenge Course (ropes)

Small teams of participants work together toward a common objective and learn problem-solving skills while developing their leadership abilities. Individually, participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and expand their comfort zones through the high ropes course.

Archery

Using traditional recurve bows, participants have the ability to develop their archery skills. Most participants find archery to be more difficult than expected. However, after some one-on-one instruction, participants quickly find themselves becoming extremely proficient within a short amount of time. Quiet concentration and calculated adjustments are interrupted by the thrill of hearing the arrow slap the target.

Small Craft (boating)

East Campus has a fleet of canoes and kayaks ready for any adventure that Watershops Pond may hold. All boating staff members have completed industry-recognized standard training to ensure safety and maximize individual learning.

Open Block - Arts, Crafts, and Games

During a certain block in the day, the staff are responsible for planning and presenting activities for the group. These activities may include arts and crafts projects or outdoor games. Staff members work with the participants to determine their interest in possible activities and assist with the process of group consensus and decision-making.
