Provided by the Department of Public Safety, the Springfield College shuttle services are available for students, faculty, & staff to use throughout the academic year. These services are available to provide safe and convenient on-campus travel. We take pride in these services and encourage the Springfield College community to hop-on-board.
Safe Rides Shuttle (AKA Pride Ride)
The Safe Rides Shuttle operates on campus during the academic year. The shuttle operates on a fixed route and is available seven nights per week. This service operates Sunday-Thursday 6 p.m. to midnight and 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The number of shuttles in operation will vary based on passenger volume and availability. Additional vehicles are added to the route every Thursday through Saturday, and when necessary during special events or during times of significant increases in ridership.
This shuttle runs a continuous loop around campus and it makes brief stops at selected locations throughout the campus.

The shuttle will not pick-up or transport anyone off campus.
Please note that the estimated time of arrival at each of the shuttle stops is every 15-20 minutes.
The Mobility Shuttle operates on campus during the academic year. Whether you utilize crutches, a cane, a wheelchair or you’ve recently had surgery, the Mobility Shuttle is here to help with your on-campus mobility.
Call Public Safety at (413) 748-3516 to request the mobility service. To help us accommodate your needs, please specify why you are in need of this service and indicate whether or not you are in need of a vehicle equipped with a mechanical lift.
The Mobility Shuttle is available when classes are in session, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. "After hours" extended service is available by calling Public Safety at (413) 748-3516 and requesting the mobility shuttle service. Note that a Police Cruiser may be used to cover the after-hours mobility transport. When requesting the mobility service please indicate whether or not you are in need of a vehicle equipped with a mechanical lift.
If you find yourself in frequent need of this service, please email email@example.com. Request to set up a transport schedule and forward your class schedule as well as your requested shuttle schedule (days of the week, pick-up locations & times). Please allow at least 48 hours for processing of your requested schedule. Note that your requested shuttle schedule has not been approved until you receive written confirmation from the Transportation Department. Please continue to call Public Safety to request the mobility shuttle service until you receive written confirmation of your requested schedule.
