At Springfield College, our priority is ensuring the health and wellness of our campus community. Below is an up-to-date listing of campus operations and any adjustments that have been made in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Learning Commons
The Library, Academic Success Center and the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship staff are all working from home. The Learning Commons is not open to the public OR to any students, faculty or staff, other than the 24 hour space.

Technology Services Help
East Campus
East Campus is closed to visitors and guests of the campus. All internal community members, including faculty and staff, may continue to use the facility.
Child Development Center
The Child Development Center is closed indefinitely.
Wellness Center and Pool
The Wellness Center is closed indefinitely.
Cheney Hall Dining Services
All dining services have been moved to an online ordering system in place of the Union and Cheney dining services. Please check your Springfield College email for instructions. If you didn't receive an email, check in with scdining@springfieldcollege.edu.

Counseling Center
The staff at the Counseling Center are committed to the continued support of our students at Springfield College. In order to effectively proceed with counseling in the midst of the restrictions surrounding COVID-19, we are utilizing an online teletherapy system for as long as these safety standards remain in place. Please email counselingcenter@springfield.edu for follow up regarding services or information.
Health Center
The hours of operation for the Health Center are currently Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The front door of the Health Center will remain locked throughout the day and students will not be allowed into the Health Center without an appointment. This measure is being taken to protect the health of the students and the Health Center staff. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.
Please call the Health Center (413-748-3175) with any questions or concerns. We will try to continue to accommodate the needs of all students but services may be limited at times.
Career Center
Due to ongoing concerns across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States, and the world regarding matters pursuant to COVID-19, the health, well-being, and safety of all constituents is paramount. Members of the Career Center staff will be corresponding via email with the exception of scheduled phone appointments (see below).
If you are need to schedule an appointment,please be advised that all student and alumni appointments will be conducted via phone appointment.. To schedule a phone appointment with a counselor, please email career@springfield.edu and provide several choices of dates and times (e.g., Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 3:30pm) that you are available. Career staff will then email you a confirmed appointment time. In your email, please provide your name, ID number, phone number, appointment reason, class year or year of graduation, and any other pertinent information.
Employer Services: For employers who desire to post employment opportunities, please utilize the Springfield College Career Center's Job Connect portal to self-post your listing.
