Most of our programs conduct a holistic review of all credentials you submit. This means that while academic achievement is a critical piece of the review puzzle, it isn't the only one. We review all applications in their entirety, regardless of GPA.

We recalculate the undergraduate GPA to reflect cumulative achievement across all institutions attended. We simply divide the total number of quality points by the total number of credits to determine the cumulative undergraduate index. 

Rolling admissions means that you can apply anytime throughout the year up until the deadline and/or up until the program has reached its limit. Admissions decisions will be released as they are made. 

This depends on the program. Some of our programs we will review on a rolling basis up until their deadlines. On others, we will wait until all applications have been received and begin to review immediately following the deadline. Please check with us directly if you're curious to know the specific review practice of your intended program. 

We typically encourage our students not to wait until the end of the semester, but rather send your transcripts after your mid-semester grades have been posted. Once you have completed your degree you will then need to send an updated official transcript showing your final grades and degree conferral date.

Yes, if the master's degree program you intend to enroll in is less than 48 semester hours we will consider up to six semester hours of credit in transfer. If the program is more than 48 credits, we'll consider up to nine semester hours of credit in transfer. The PsyD program will consider up to 30 semester hours of credit in transfer.

Yes, all original transcripts from any college previously attended are required.

Once we've received all required credentials to complete your application, we begin our review. It typically takes four to six weeks before a decision is rendered. 

The director of graduate admissions may approve an application fee waiver in cases of financial hardship.

The minimum TOEFL requirement is 90. Students who do not meet this requirement may be eligible for admission to CLASP, our English language preparatory program. 

The TOEFL may be waived in cases where an international student from a non-English speaking country has earned a bachelor's degree in English or received a B or higher in English 101 and 102 or equivalent.
