It takes a special kind of person to have the desire and commitment to learn emergency care for people who are injured, ill, or in crisis. Springfield College Emergency Medical Services Management (EMSM) students have that passion and, after graduation, quickly become employed in this fast-growing field. Our EMSM bachelor’s degree program is one of the oldest and most established. It is one of only five such programs in the United States, and the only one of its kind in the Northeast.
Many of our graduates start as paramedics and move into management roles. Others move into regulatory agencies or corporations in emergency medical services (EMS). Some become physicians, physician assistants, nurses, or attorneys.
